who are we?
We are two VR-artists: Nadia Bey and Anna Matiets. We've been practicing and studying VR art + we have a great desire to share our knowledge with others!

However, we are not the only ones who contributed to the creation of VRAG. We want to express a warm gratitude to other artists and researchers, who helped us:

Katja Franka
Vasilisa Kasheeva
Natalia Ray
Alesia Shimanovich
how do we decide what to put in VRAG?
Art is always a subjective thing. Still, while searching, we realised that not everything created in VR and for VR we can consider as art. If you have stumbled across mundane metaverse spaces looking alike each other (which still declare themselves unique) you understand what do we mean.

So far, we developed two criteria which help us to make decisions:

Participation of an artist / a project in exhibitions, festivals or any other significant events
The approach to the works is innovative in terms of technique, aesthetic, ideas. We understand that sometimes good projects may not be famous enough yet, this is why we decide to trust not only in institutions and public appreciation, but to our own beliefs as well
contact us!

Don’t be shy to text us! Gathering the information about the skyrocketing amount of VR projects is not easy. Thus we would be happy with any piece of information as long as it adds something new to our picture or corrects our guide to the best.
